Dustin joined the SVdP Ready2Work Program through a partner agency and gave 100% from the very start. SVdP was able to provide him with work training and real-world job skills. Dustin worked hard and proved himself as a leader and is now the General Manager of the SVdP Thrift & Furniture Store. He is a shining example of what the program was created to do.
“I’ve spent the last 2 years re-building my life from the ground up. SVdP has been instrumental in my recovery and will always hold a special place in my heart,” said Dustin. “My mission is to give back the kindness and grace that was shown to me. Every facet of our organization is a beautiful thing. I’m proud to be a small part of it. I’m also grateful for our staff, volunteers, customers and people like me who benefit from the services we provide so they can re-build their lives. I have found purpose and meaning in life by being a part of MY community.”
