Two years ago, Eric came to us through our collaborating partner, Flying High, at the
very beginning of his recovery. After years of homelessness,, addiction, and felony convictions,
he didn’t believe a different life was possible. But Ready2Work gave him the tools, support,
and encouragement to try.
Eric started in our thrift store, learning job skills, showing up every day, and pushing himself to grow. His transformation – from program participant to SVdP leader – is a testament to the power of education and mentorship. Today, he’s our Assistant Store Manager, leading with character and confidence.
Eric shared, “I am stunned at the person I am today and how my life has changed; that would never have been possible without the chance that St. Vincent de Paul took on me. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow.”
